Jes was born in Lousville, Ky. He grew up in Brasil, living in Rio de Janerio from the age
of six to 18 where he enjoyed the beautiful beaches and gained a love for body surfing.
After attending college in North Carolina, he served in the U.S. Navy Submarine force
and Deep Sea Diving community for almost 30 years.
While station in Norfolk, Va area, Jes became involved with the neighborhood summer
swim team his sons were on and worked as a Stroke and Turn Judge, and a Referee.
Upon moving to the Netherlands he started coaching the Geilenkirchen Orca team for
three years, with one year as the Head Coach.
Jes is married to Rosie and they have four grown children.
His goal is to help the very young swimmers gain confidence in the water and for the
more experienced swimmers to improve their swimming techniques, striving for that "
