Coach Jane has been living in  Italy (Naples & Vicenza) since 2000 with her husband Neil and three
children, Meghan 20, Taylor 17 and Jono 15.  She attended Middle Tennessee State University on a
Track & Cross Country scholarship and graduated with a B.S. in Medical Technology from Vanderbilt
University in 1983.  Jane swam competively as a child and later in high school.  She did not actively get
back in to swimming until her children started swimming over ten years ago at Fort Bragg, N.C.
  Coach Jane has been coaching in the European Forces Swim League (EFSL) for eight years where
she has received her Water Safety Instructor (WSI) Certification, CPR/AED Certification, and her Level 1
& 2 Certification from American Swim Coaches Association (ASCA).  She continues to study swim
coaching where she served as an assistant coach for the EFSL Head  Coach Peter Trummer at
numerous swim camps in Austria.  In addition, Jane served as an assistant coach for Nick Baker
(Canadian Olympic Swim Coach at the 1992 Barcelona Olympic games) at his latest camp at Rota,
Spain in July 2008.  She loves working with swimmers of all ages and enjoys the challenges and
successes of coaching.  Sharing her knowledge and experience with the Naples Tiger Sharks swimmers
has and continues to be very rewarding.  Coach Jane is looking forward to a  Great 2008-2009 Season!!
