NTS Sports Physical
Our swim league, the European Forces Swim League (EFSL), is requesting all swimmers have a Sports
Physical for the upcoming regular season. You will find the form attached. This form will need to be
signed by a physician at the hospital. We are sending out the form early so all families have time to get
it done. This form is needed for the regular season starting in September and is not needed for the
Summer Swim Session. We are requesting all Sports Physicals be completed by September 1, 2009 for
the season. If your swimmer is in the high school and has completed the high school sports physical
form, that is fine to substitute with.

NTS Pool Party- August 1, 2009

Location: Support Site Pool
Naples Tiger Sharks Families:
We are celebrating the upcoming Tiger Sharks' season with a Pool Party! We will be collecting
paperwork for the regular season which will be emailed to you in late July. You will have the opportunity
to meet the other swim families and learn more about the team. We are requesting each family to bring
a dish with a serving utensil to share. The team will provide hot dogs, burgers, and drinks.

We are asking families to RVSP by July 20 with number attending so we may plan accordingly in
ordering the meat and drinks.
We are looking for volunteers to help with set-up (1845), clean-up, and grilling. Send us an email if you

Volunteers Needed
Naples Tiger Sharks Families:
As we are a large organization and strictly run by volunteers, it is important for each family to contribute
to the team in some fashion. We are currently seeking to fill three positions. We will also be seeking
volunteers soon to help with Fund Raising, Concessions, and Bus Monitors.
Publicity Coordinator: The publicity coordinator is responsible for publicizing the team activities and its
accomplishments through various means to include but not limited to the Panorama, AFN and emails.
Swim-a-thon Coordinator: The swim-a-thon coordinator is responsible for organizing our annual
swim-a-thon on November 13. The swim-a-thon is our largest fund raiser held each year.
Membership Coordinator: The membership coordinator is responsible for creating and maintaining a
roster of the team during the regular season.

Hi Everyone, Hope you are enjoying your summer!! Just a heads up ,
there will be Tiger Sharks merchandise available at the season opener
party on August 1st. We have towels, swim caps, tattoos, water
bottles, etc. You can also place an order for your swimmer's warm-ups.
Jackets are $32 and pants are $18. If you have any questions, please

the pool party, you will need to pay for them when you order them, so

upcoming season! Attached is the Registration Package for the Regular Season. There are many
attachments but all are important so please take the time to go through it all. Information on the team
bathing suit, required equipment, etc. is located in the Tiger Shark Welcome Information attachment. The
Registration Package forms need to be returned either at the Pool Party or at practice on August 13.
Payment for the season will be collected at the same time.

2009 SUMMER SWIM SESSION
Welcome to Summer Swim Session 2009! The program will run July 13- August 28 at the Capo Pool. The
swimmers will practice on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. There are three groups of swimmers. Coach
Jane will be sending out a separate email with a list of the groups. The practice times for the groups will be:
Group 1: 07:15-08:45
Group 2: 09:00-10:15
Group 3: 10:30-11:30
The Summer Swim Session costs $60 per a swimmer. Checks can be made payable to NTS. There are two
forms which will need to be filled out for each swimmer. MEDICAL RELEASE/WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY
(please download to print). We will be collecting the forms and payment on the first day of practice, July 13, at the
pool. Swimmers will not be allowed to practice without the forms and payment.
This year we will kick-off our fund raising efforts with three days of food sales at Capo during the lunch hours.
The tentative dates are July 22, July 29, and August 5. Look for more details coming soon from our Fund Raising
Chair, Ellen Lamb.
Our annual Pool Party will be on August 1st, 19:00-21:30, at the Support Site Pool. This is a fun event for the Tiger
Shark families to meet each other or catch up with each other. Be sure to save the date!
